The Data Warehousingdepartment at Conversant is responsible for brokering all enterprise data andmaintaining database and Hadoop environments at petabyte scale on an everchanging technology stack. In this role, in addition to mastering thetechnology stack, it is also of vital importance to develop subject matterexpertise on the enterprise's data set. As a data driven company, the waywe capture, store and utilize the corporate asset of the proprietary data modelis what drives our best in class understanding of the consumer and equatesdirectly to the company's bottom line.
You will design and codesolutions on and off database for ensuring application access to enable datadriven decision making for the company's multi-faceted ad serving operations.
Working closely with enduser communities of Analytics, Decision Sciences and Operations to ensureenterprise data warehouse solutions and assets are actionable, accessible andevolving in lockstep with the needs of the ever changing business model.
You design, develop,test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- 5 years of experience in maintaining and developing database andHDFS applications
- Ability to learn and investigate new areas independently
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with databases and data-driven applications
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with specific "big data" technologies including Hadoop,HBase, Storm, Kafka
- Experience with PostgreSQL, pgplsql and python
- Experience with BI tools and reporting frameworks
- Experience with replication, backup and restore and disasterrecovery
Education and Experience
Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering/DataWarehousing or equivalent experience.
