THE ROLE – Sales Development Representative

• Learn and execute processes to generate and nurture new sales opportunities
• Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing known meeting & event needs
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
• Execute proactive customer sales outreach, through sales automation, warm & cold calling, to cultivate and qualify leads into quality appointments:
• Develop opportunities from past/lapsed clients and past leads
• Prospect against building stacking plans
• Identify and pursue opportunities via competitor reader boards
• Follow up on attendees from marketing events and client receptions
• Follow up on leads generated from Marketing outreach
• Initiate conversations with potential client via phone and email outreach
• Capture accurate and complete information in Salesforce.com
• Meet and exceed goals related to business opportunity identification, qualification and appointment setting
• Create and deliver qualified leads to Account Managers and Directors
• Engage and Strategize with Account Executives and Sales Managers on targeted prospect accounts.
• Be an active member of the team by sharing learnings
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
• Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
