Account Coordinator

Position Summary 

The Account Coordinator is responsible for executing an efficient and accurate process for incoming leads for the Sales team. They are responsible for handling the entire sales process for any leads of 25 participants or less, specifically from accounts not currently owned by a Sales team member. 

Duties & Functions 

Duties 

  • Records, sources, assigns and tracks all incoming leads 
  • First point of contact for all leads coming through the call center 
  • Accurately enters all inquiry and task information for incoming web leads 
  • Ensures consistent client information flow between initial inquiry, salesforce and sales team 
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Salesforce, correctly entering account and booking information and running necessary weekly lead and booking reports  
  • Be able to explicitly state what the Convene All-Inclusive Daily Meeting Packages include 
  • Be able to understand the Convene contract clauses, terms and conditions 
  • Identify peak and off-peak periods, and provide accurate pricing through use of space minimums 
  • Know the product: be familiar with each property, as well as each room’s capacity and capabilities  
  • Build strong working relationships with on-site General Managers and Production Teams 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team and Sales Operations Manager to run weekly lead reports and analyze lead data 
  • Participate as an active member of the sales team

  • Attend all sales meetings  
  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests, projects or tasks made from your superiors  
  • Be energetic, positive, motivated, personable, coachable and work well with others 

Time Allocation 

  • Lead Coordination 60% 
  • Sales Process 40% 

Qualifications 

Education: 

  •  College Degree Required  BS/BA 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit at a desk and  work at a computer for up to 8 hours a day
