Spring or Summer Intern 2017 - Conda
Continuum Analytics is looking for motivated interns to work on the development team for conda http://conda.pydata.org/docs/. Conda is an open source package management system and environment management system for installing multiple versions of software packages and their dependencies and switching easily between them. It works on Linux, OS X and Windows, and was created for Python programs but can package and distribute any software.
We believe internships are as much about learning as working. Interns are matched with project mentors who themselves are experienced software engineers.
Our internship opportunities are for individuals currently enrolled in a degree program, either undergraduate or graduate. Successful applicants typically bring analytical or quantitative backgrounds (hard science, engineering, math, econometrics, bioinformatics) and have active working knowledge of the Python programming language.
Applicants should include references to any and all relevant professional social media accounts that display their work and contributions (e.g. LinkedIn, Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, StackOverflow, Project Euler, Codewars, HackerRank).
Please include a cover letter with your application explaining your interest in this internship. All qualified candidates must be local, or prepared to work in Austin for the duration of the internship.
