Business Development Representative
About the Position:
Our Business Development Representatives serve as a point of contact for business related services, and are responsible for facilitating on-sites and educational presentations at local businesses and community organizations in order to grow our membership and assist current members with their loan and deposit needs.
What we ask of you:
As the Business Development Representative, you will work with the Business Development Officer and retail Office Managers to facilitate recurring onsite presentations to businesses for the purpose of growing membership, providing financial education, and communicating our credit union brand. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying business lending and deposit opportunities and to make qualified referrals; and implement a calling program that includes prospective businesses to develop new partnerships, and contacting current business members to expand banking relationships. You will also open new accounts for members, and represent the credit union at various events and functions.
We ask that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening and public speaking skills, provide a professional image, have experience in building rapport, have the ability to foster and grow relationships, ability to work with little supervision, and have a working knowledge of business loan and deposit products. We also require a that would have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and are able to work some weeknights and Saturdays when necessary.
