Position Summary

The Manager, Corporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for developing, leading and maintaining the Global EHS audit program and performing audits for all CBI operations globally. The role will have exposure and direct interaction with regulators, key company management and operations personnel in rolling-out and performing their duties with a high degree of independence. In addition, this position will assist the Director, Corporate EHS with merger and acquisition due diligence activities, implementation and sustainment of the global EHS management system, global EHS risk assessment, EHS metrics reporting and on-location technical support

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the business units and their operations.
  • Lead annual planning processes to determine audit schedules based on risks and regulatory influences that impact EHS.
  • Conduct internal EHS audits for various Constellation Brands facilities. Complete and communicate audit reports/results to key stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Support operations with the development of remediation plans in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Track the status of corrective actions and develop trending reports across all facilities.
  • Liaison to international operating companies and coordinate international audits through a combination of in-house personnel and consultants.
  • Scope new audit programs, prepare protocols, create reports and metrics, and track audit findings to closure.
  • Liaison to risk management team and broker/insurance company's EHS audit team.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of global EHS management system including standards and program requirements.
  • Perform EHS due diligence activities for assigned mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures.
  • Perform quarterly EHS metrics data acquisition and quality control. Develop draft quarterly EHS reports.
  • Assist in the development of Corporate EHS policies, standards, and processes.

Education & Required Skills:

  • Combined ten (10) +years of experience in engineering and environmental, health and safety compliance in the areas of audit, management systems, acquisitions, regulatory and legal matters
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental, and/or Engineering.
  • Recognized EHS subject matter expert with broad skillsets and technical abilities. Ability to solve unclearly defined problems with limited information.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with subject matter experts and consultants to develop audit plans and protocols.
  • Strong experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to work with customers and all levels of management, vendors and other business partners.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, set priorities, and deliver projects with deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel commercially and internationally.

Physical Requirements:

  • Non-Stationery position; working at desk/personal computer and standing/walking at indoor and outdoor facility locations.
  • Primary work environment is professional corporate office.
  • Secondary work environment is CBI facilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

The salary range for this role is:
$88,700.00 - $135,900.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
