About the Role:
As Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of a wider team of focused and hungry marketers passionate about building the future of the global economy with frontier technology. Embedded in the Direct Group, you’ll be focussed on driving the adoption and monetization of our Direct-To-Developer and Direct-To-Consumer products. You’ll be crafting product positioning, naming products, undertaking competitive analysis, influencing feature prioritization and developing external communications to help shape the product voice. You’ll also be developing campaigns and programs to grow usage and revenue.
This is a highly cross-functional role, working with experts across product development, engineering, front end development, design, developer relations and more. This is an end-to-end role, where you’ll set strategy, develop and execute programs and campaigns to drive developer adoption.
- Develop the go-to-market for D2D/D2C products in order to grow and monetise their user base.
- Become a domain expert on Web3 developer tools and cultivate an in-depth understanding of how developers use them to reimagine a host of industries.
- Develop and manage communications for product releases, including content, use cases, guides, best practices and tutorials to help developers build with our Direct products.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Jobs To Be Done done for Web3 developers, identify market trends and grok the competitive landscape.
- Build content, product narratives and craft key messaging and execute campaigns, working with other ConsenSys marketing teams.
- Manage stakeholders across Product, Marketing and Developer Education to deliver the best marketing outcomes for your products.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product marketing for a technology company
- Experience in bringing technical or developer-focussed products to market
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong planning and analytical skills, as well as outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrated storytelling ability. Producing compelling educational content, product narratives and positioning will be critical to your success.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage developer ecosystems, analyze market dynamics, undertake meaningful customer segmentation, launch products, create and manage programs with a high degree of autonomy.
- Cross-functional project and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous, rapidly changing start-up environment, identify opportunities and solve problems.
- A willingness to help out where needed - regardless of the scope of your role
Bonus Points for:
- Experience in technical/developer communities, open source projects, or similar developer groups.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages is not required but would be an advantage.
- Experience working in a start-up culture
- An understanding of the Blockchain and Ethereum ecosystem, with an interest and curiosity to learn more
- Experience working in a globally distributed and/or remote team
