As a Business Support Senior Administrator, you will work at a strategic regional level within the division, partnering closely with teams across the DPS business, including Operations, the DPS Contact Centre, Risk, Billing, and the Financial Crime Unit. You'll have the chance to take ownership of your workload, manage tight deadlines confidently, and work independently while making a real impact across the business.

A role you will love

You'll report to the Business Support Manager and focus on managing escalated queries from the Administration Support Team to ensure workloads are completed in line with internal service level agreements. You'll provide oversight and guidance to team members while supporting the Business Support Manager.

As a Senior Business Support Administrator, your responsibilities will include preparing daily and weekly reports, checking data accuracy, and supporting government reporting and risk presentations. You'll also help resolve system-related issues by logging, categorising, and prioritising incidents quickly and efficiently. You'll keep stakeholders updated, share important communications across the business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs) and make sure they're completed on time
  • Provide clear and helpful responses to client and colleague queries, both written and verbal
  • Stay up to date with Business Support Team processes and wider business procedures
  • Act as a Business Continuity Champion or Deputy, ensuring all obligations are met
  • Work independently and confidently, even when deadlines are tight
  • Support risk management and take on ad-hoc projects when needed
  • Review and improve processes to make the team more efficient and effective

This hybrid role involves 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with a 35-hour work week, Monday to Friday. Starting salary is £26,000, dependent on experience and interview performance. Candidates must live within an hour's commute of our Bristol office (Bridgwater Road, South Bristol, BS13 8AE).
