Join Computershare's Issuer Services division as an Account Manager and step into a crucial, locally focused role within our Swiss Registry business unit. Here, you'll be at the heart of providing essential administrative services and support to a diverse range of Swiss Registry clients and stakeholders, including shareholders, custodian banks, and law firms. Operating within strict client service and regulatory guidelines, your expertise will ensure the successful and timely delivery of high-quality services. Beyond client delivery, you'll find a world of potential for growth and collaboration, working closely with the Swiss meeting team on continuous improvement and key projects. Your cooperation with IT and Product Management will also be vital in the ongoing maintenance and development of our share register system, allowing you to contribute to strategic operational excellence.
A role you will love
As the Account Manager, you will hold the vital responsibility for managing a dedicated register portfolio. You'll ensure the day-to-day delivery of exceptionally high-quality service to our Registry clients, their shareholders, and custodians. This means accurately processing all transactions and responding to inquiries within agreed timeframes. You will work in lockstep with the meeting team and external stakeholders, reviewing and actioning client activity to consistently meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels. Furthermore, you will be the key support for clients and stakeholders regarding all corporate actions events, in addition to managing essential reporting, electronic, and postal mailings. This is a role that combines meticulous operations with proactive client relationship management.
- Manage the register portfolio and ensure all transactions and inquiries are processed accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively with the meeting team to guarantee all client activity meets strict deadlines.
- Support clients and external stakeholders with all corporate actions events and related reporting/mailings.
- Ensure proactive and forward-thinking client service to achieve a high level of client satisfaction.
- Apply quality assurance measures to ensure operational performance is within agreed frameworks and service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
- Handle all external correspondence, providing accurate guidance within 24 hours, and promptly manage and resolve any complaints or escalations.
- Contribute to the retention and potential acquisition of business, maintaining zero tolerance for material losses, significant complaints, or penalties.
What will you bring to the role?
This role demands a client-focused professional with a strong foundation in administrative procedures. You'll operate within defined technical and operational frameworks, requiring you to apply sound, evaluative judgment guided by policy and best practice. Your contributions will directly impact our agreed service levels, requiring you to self-manage a quota of client inquiries and consistently maintain high quality standards and deadlines. As a key team member, you'll also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement efforts and provide support or guidance to colleagues, coordinating tasks and checking work quality when necessary.
- Proven Professional Experience: Successfully completed basic commercial education (preferably in financial services) coupled with several years of professional experience in clerical work with direct customer contact.
- Share Register Expertise: Highly motivated to acquire and deepen expertise in the share register and capital markets field, with a good understanding of related work routines and procedures
- Strong Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and very good knowledge of written and spoken English (French is a plus!).
- Problem-Solving & Judgment: The ability to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.
- Team & Market Awareness: A clear understanding of how the wider team collaborates to achieve goals, plus a basic grasp of Swiss market practice and competitor services.
- Communication & Diplomacy: Developed communication skills to provide clear verbal and written responses to client queries (ranging from basic to medium complexity), including the use of tact and diplomacy when handling challenging situations.
- Quality & Self-Management: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and self-manage tasks to ensure quality standards and time constraints are continuously met.
