Senior Analyst - Corporate FP&A - New York City

FP&A is an integral part of the decision-making process at Compass, embedded within the business to ensure we maximize ROI and drive profitability. Compass’ Corporate FP&A team is looking for a strong Sr. Financial Analyst to support our Technology, Expansion and People & Culture organizations. This role will report to the Sr Manager, FP&A and will have a high level of visibility throughout the finance and leadership teams.
At Compass You Will:
- Partner with the Technology, Expansion and People & Culture departments on monthly financial reporting, headcount reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Own the month end process highlighting any potential risks & opportunities through detailed analysis and reporting
- Support the annual budget and reforecasts by facilitating cross functional collaboration to ensure the budget supports Compass’ financial goals
- Support the Expansion team by owning the new office financial model and approval process
- Developing reporting tools within Adaptive Insights and provide financial partnership to your executive business partners
- Design reporting packages that include trends on OpEx, Cash Flow and expansion office P&Ls
- Serve as the primary Finance support for CapEx planning/reporting and drive ongoing process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance and/or Investment Banking
- You are experienced with business partnership roles, collaborating with various senior level business owners
- Must possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for senior management and other stakeholders
- Adaptive, Tableau and NetSuite experience highly preferred
- Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach. Ability and desire to be hands on in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
- Humble team player who understands the importance of the role as a key support partner to the operating team
- Proactive individual seeking additional responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
