Recruiting Manager

Compass is building the first modern real estate platform, pairing the industry’s top real estate professionals with technology to make the search, collaboration, and buyer/seller experiences seamless. Compass is looking for a Recruiting Manager to join our growing recruiting team. You are passionate about finding top talent and building amazing teams. You will drive the Company’s talent acquisition strategy for our growing teams across business lines. You’ll partner with hiring managers and their teams to develop, drive, manage and improve upon our Recruiting strategy. In addition, you will assist in developing and promoting the Compass culture internally and externally.

At Compass You Will:

  • Translate passion for our company and culture so it can be felt by candidates
  • Drive the recruiting process by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews, and assisting in determining the suitability of applicants in various departments for employment
  • Work closely with the Compass hiring managers to better understand each department’s needs, where and why we should invest recruiting capabilities, and screen incoming applicants quickly and effectively
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics
  • Be dedicated to driving an exceptional candidate experience, including communicating with candidates professionally with immediate responsiveness
  • Develop and execute creative recruiting efforts and events, including: candidate lunches,  informational sessions, recruitment events/mixers and other activities that promote Compass recruiting and outreach efforts
  • Promote the Compass brand and use creativity to attract and market the Company to qualified and talented candidates

What We're Looking For:

  • B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience with at least 2-3 years managing a team of Recruiters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to multitask and manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency and constant attention
  • High level of interpersonal skills and strong ability to engage both active and passive candidates
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse a plus)
  • Proficiency in, or knowledge of, using a variety of computer software applications, especially Google Suite, Excel and Microsoft Word software
