Marketing Manager

As a Marketing Manager at Compass you will shape Compass' local marketing team and our presence in the Austin market.  You will be responsible for managing the local marketing team while working closely with the West Coast Marketing team and Compass corporate marketing department to develop, oversee and execute a local brand strategy and agent marketing services strategy.  You will be the leader and visionary for Austin Compass Marketing.
At Compass You Will:
  • Lead a marketing team that effectively, efficiently, and intelligently handles all local marketing needs for our agents in Austin
  • Lead strategy and execution for all agent branding and marketing to ensure cohesion with the Compass brand
  • Analyze local media landscape and develop local media strategy (print and digital) in partnership with national media manager
  • Partner with regional creative team, including on-the-ground creative team, across all platforms, including print and digital design, advertising campaigns, video content, and social media
  • Analyze local marketing needs and remain up to date on local real estate market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and the competitive landscape to inform the evolution of Compass’s Austin marketing presence
  • Work with other regional marketing leads on cross-regional marketing opportunities
  • Partner with Regional Marketing Director on regional brand strategy and implementation of best practices across the region
  • Identify and guide opportunities for building scalable systems that will allow the local offices to grow effectively
  • Update and track marketing activity on national dashboard, to include tracking of email and social media activity in region
What We're Looking For:
  • Collaborative, results-oriented leadership experience and approach
  • Management experience leading cross-functional teams; change management experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent, strategic thinker with operational experience
  • 5+ years previous experience in a marketing or branding role; agency and creative production experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of creative programs such as InDesign and Photoshop a plus
  • B.S. / B.A required
