Creative Producer

The Creative Producer will oversee the production of creative projects and collaborate with other project managers to execute creative work on time and within budget. Production goals will focus around maximizing quality while maintaining budgeted profitability.

You will collaborate daily with the Head of Creative & Marketing, Senior Creative Producer, Head of Product, Visual Designers, UX Designers and members of the Marketing Data & Analytics team to usher in new creative work. You will work closely with a variety of external suppliers, from design agencies to production and post-production houses. This role is crucial in helping build the products and brand marketing components that will lead to Compass’ success. We are especially looking for producers with extensive video production experience.

At Compass You Will:

  • Set and oversee process for production workflow

  • Manage talent payment and traffic between departments.

  • Oversee other producers concentrating on components of brand marketing, agent marketing and product marketing

  • Establish and maintain production schedules.

  • Shepherd creative departments concepts and add feedback and ideas to improve and elevate the ideas when necessary.

  • Oversee the online production tools, including Asana, and improve where necessary.

  • Create cost estimates and budgets.

  • Investigate and present opportunities for production partnerships.

  • Produce photo shoots and teams of freelance photographer resources.

  • Create production schedules for video and film projects with top notch storytelling.

  • Continually help develop list of potential creative partners and collaborators that can be accessed regularly to complete projects on time and under budget.

  • Oversee legal requirements for projects working with in-house legal team.

  • Oversee the technical and equipment requirements of the production group including edit machines, servers etc to assure that the group has the necessary systems for success.

  • Liaise among different departments, agents, executives etc to create a protective buffer for the creative departments time while managing expectations around delivery.

  • Have a creative point of view on projects and be able to explain concepts, ideas and brand guidelines in a clear, friendly and convincing manner.

  • Review worker performance on a yearly basis and keep close track of internal team development.

  • Oversee recruitment and management of interns.

  • Produce full integrated advertising campaigns (print, web, mobile, outdoor etc).

  • Manage the process of content creation living in social channels.

  • Work hand in hand with the Director of Editorial and Communications to deliver the editorial content calendar throughout the year.

  • Create editorial and stat reports.


What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience managing projects either internally or at an agency.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and effective strategies.

  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.

  • High level of discretion, diligence, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

  • Experience working within creative team and managing designers, writers, artists, etc.

  • Experience with technology startups is recommended.

  • Experience with aspects of lifestyle, design or tangential industries recommended.
