The Kidde ground vehicle engineering group integrates fire protection systems into vehicle applications to protect the passengers and the vehicle asset. Job responsibilities will be to define product and system requirements depending on the end application, complete design activities to determine a suitable fire protection system, validate the system through analysis and testing, and complete/release drawings. Other job responsibilities regarding new product development will be to complete product design activities which will ultimately be included as part of the product portfolio for future vehicle fire protection systems. These new product development job responsibilities will include requirement determination considering the voice of the customer, product design activities, and verification/validation testing.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
