Job summary:

Performs various overhaul, rework, repair, associated operations and documentation on aircraft equipment and components. Work is performed in standard work environments as required to maintain product flow.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemblies/ repairs/ rebuilds fabricated parts, components at floor stations
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerance and product specifications
  • Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units
  • Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels; repairs as required
  • Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies/ components in accordance with established procedures and technical data
  • Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, shop documentation, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations, diagnoses, and correction of problems
  • Follows repair and shop processes to ensure highest quality and shortest turn time of repair
  • Maybe required to obtain EPA certifications
  • Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 35 lbs
  • Will work to maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Minimum Qualifications:

HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous repair experience (aircraft, machinery, electrical equipment)
  • refrigeration experience
  • automotive experience
  • military experience in repair or maintenance
  • experience working in a AS9100 manufacturing environment
