Staff Accountant - Financial Management and Payments

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our fast-growing Financial Management & Payments (FMP) team! As a member of our team, you will utilize your accounting and finance expertise to enhance the Collective Health client experience. Collective Health administers self-insured health plans for employers (our clients) and the FMP team is responsible for managing our clients’ health plan bank accounts. This position, which reports to the FMP Manager, will assist with processing our clients’ invoices and administering payments to their health plan partners. You will also be responsible for preparing reconciliations and reports to support our clients’ financial requirements. You will flex your accounting/finance skills in a fast-paced startup environment and assist with ad hoc projects to support company growth and enhance overall client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Private industry or Big 4 experience is a plus
- Microsoft Excel experience is required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Enthusiasm for client service and new challenges
