The Coca-Cola marketing organisation is the best in the world, and we are looking for a Data leader to evolve the next chapter in how we implement base to leading Data and Analytics capabilities across our Global Marketing Procurement organization.

This exciting role sits within the global marketing procurement team, partnering closely with operating units, finance, and the wider procurement community and has a significant remit to drive connected opportunities and value generation through Data and Analytics across our business globally. This requires excellent knowledge of financial and procurement process, standards, technology, and reporting, and experience of leading transformation and change within a function. The Data Manager engages on complex and multiple projects simultaneously and works closely with team members to develop analytics and insights that support sourcing strategies. In addition, the Data Manager is responsible for projects aligned with the marketing procurement operational strategy and represents data and analytics expertise in various process setting meetings.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead large, often complex data projects and activities for the global marketing procurement organization
  • Drive optimization of marketing procurement data and reporting, visualizations, and automation
  • Implement capabilities in understanding and applying procurement processes, master data management, and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, CLM, Apttus, Spend Database)
  • Strategically align with leadership team to ensure compliance to requirements and data best practices
  • Lead key analytics activities to provide insight and drive improvement
  • Prepare and lead key analytics presentations
  • Provide analytical rigor and technical expertise to improve decision-making
  • Participate in development of analytical capabilities and digitization initiatives
  • Communicate key analytics insights by creating and delivering presentations to global marketing procurement team, executive leaders, and sponsors
  • Collaborate with leadership to build an understanding of capability strategy, supplier markets, & processes
  • Support business strategies and objectives through effective identification of data and insights
  • Support innovative approaches to sourcing while using analytics and processes to determine scenarios, benefits, risks, and change management impact of each of those options.
  • Support company targets on savings, cash flow, sustainability, and people.
  • Provide knowledge and service expertise to leverage spend, increase value, and decrease total costs.
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit TCCC
  • Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry research and cost models if appropriate.
  • Build market best practice information suite, benchmarking and cost modeling approach and support continuous learning of best practice and ROI
  • Ensure all marketing reporting, and performance is complete and well understood
  • Identify, classify, maintain, and protect files, documentation, and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements.

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain, advanced degree preferred
  • Essential to have advanced Excel skills and knowledge of RDBMS (via SQL) concepts
  • Very strong in Data Visualization & Story Telling expertise
  • Familiarity with mathematical optimization and linear programming
  • SAP, Ariba experience preferred
  • Project management experience in digitization initiative a plus
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and applications to deliver value for the business. Includes the ability to use financial models, industry knowledge, and implement optimized business solutions.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices
  • Ability to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
  • Knowledge of marketing procurement, industry, and business best practices to ensure effective procurement strategies.
  • Knowledge of sources for competitive analysis including supplier and industry data to build competitive intelligence, inform business planning and optimize decision-making. Includes the ability to create and analyze industry cost models order to assess suppliers' competitive capabilities.
  • Knowledge of contract terms, applications, and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements.
