As a Developer Relations Business Analyst, you will be the point of contact for the day-to-day review of applications submitted by third party developers. You will handle key parts of the App Approval process, including working with automation engineers and App Approval team members on App Approval tracking and reporting, handling communications including app status inquiries, and owning some technical components of the approval process.

This role is supported by a team of Customer Success Managers, Members of Technical Staff and Squad Engineers who help provide in depth technical knowledge in a responsive and close knit environment.

Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in our products, our developers and their needs by providing effective technical consultation

• Communicate with various team members to identify bottlenecks impacting various app approvals, and build reports that help the team navigate these challenges effectively

• Evaluate apps for functional correctness, business fit and adherence to existing data privacy laws

• Help turn customer interaction into an investment by working with the Technical Writing team to get valuable knowledge documented and accessible to the community

• Manage product issues and escalations

• Approve new developers

• Engage with our operations and engineering teams to build, drive and improve our tools and processes

• Build product insights from developer experience/sentiments and work with cross-functional partners to take appropriate action

• Deliver data-driven, impactful results

• Coordinate the release of private apps to merchants

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, MIS, Communications or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience)

• At least 1 year of industry experience working in a customer facing role is preferred

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

• Previous experience in software consulting and support is desirable

Nice to have:

• Great data presentation skills

• Experience with Sigma, Snowflake, or Tableau

• Experience with basic SQL queries
