What You Would Do Here

Cloudflare is growing our People & Places team. Our focus is getting the best people to work at Cloudflare and then allowing them to do their best work. As we continue to build out our People team in Singapore, we are looking for a customer-focused team member who is naturally curious about what we do and driven to help our people thrive. In this role, you will report to the Recruiting Lead & People Business Partner for APAC and support all offices in the region.  Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage employee lifecycle processes and support the rollout of local People programs. You will maintain employee data within our core systems with a strong attention to detail and ensure data integrity. As a core team member to a rapidly growing office and region, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and work with all levels of management.

Objectives for this role will include designing new solutions and processes to support high growth/high touch in-person and remote people services. Projects include driving a variety of challenging initiatives including improvement upon current processes, establishing new People processes for new locations, optimizing the employee experience, and driving efficiencies through automation.  You love a challenge and operate with a learning mindset, embracing change and new opportunities. You’re able to prioritize your time effectively with minimal supervision.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage employee lifecycle processes for the APAC region
  • Maintain people data within core People systems
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires are onboarded effectively and have a high quality experience
  • Point of contact for new hire travel and immigration needs
  • Provide tier 1 employee support for People questions
  • Support rollout of local People programs and new automation efforts
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Subject matter expert for employment practices across the region, establish new processes for new offices and countries and optimize processes for existing locations.

Who You Are

Motivated by operational excellence, building efficient processes and helping people do their best work, you have served on a People/HR team with 3+ years of experience. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are always looking for ways to innovate. You are familiar with employment practices for countries in the APAC region and are able to operationalize business needs. You have a demonstrated history of building relationships and credibility across all levels of an organization. You operate independently and present solutions instead of problems.  You are generous with your time with all of our people and earn and maintain the trust that people place with you. Your priority in this role will be to support a world class People team for the APAC region and make it easy for local employees to do their best work.

You are system savvy with the ability to support and drive automation efforts while maintaining quality data within core systems.  You proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and action quickly, able to juggle multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines.  

You are a skillful communicator, verbally in small and large groups, as well as written through emails or on wikis.  You love working with people and are equally skilled working with spreadsheets and large data sets.
