Who We're Looking For - VP of Insurance

We are seeking the next generation of leadership to drive the growth of our Insurance Agency. At Clearlink, we're committed to finding the most suitable policies from the start and establishing enduring relationships with our customers and brand partners. As one of the nation's largest Medicare agencies, we provide our employees with the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of Americans who are enrolling in health and life insurance. As the VP of Insurance, you will be responsible for managing a team of over 100 sales, marketing, and operations professionals who contribute to the success of our Agency both directly and indirectly. Your role will involve setting and achieving targeted goals outlined in our financial operating plans and by our carrier partners. You'll also be responsible for fostering innovation and expansion into other Insurance Markets. The ideal candidate thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and possesses a growth mindset. You will be tasked with upholding and evolving our exceptional culture while building upon existing processes and structures. You'll also need a solid understanding of digital marketing and sales with experience leading large, cross-functional teams.

This position is available in the Draper, UT area. We are also open to considering applicants willing to relocate!

The Impact You Will Make

  • Strategy: Develop and implement key market strategies across all insurance channels.
  • Growth: Drive growth across existing business lines and explore new opportunities.
  • Prioritize Objectives: Implement strategies and prioritize initiatives to achieve company goals as part of the leadership team.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure implementation of best practices to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of proven experience in the insurance industry including; Medicare, Individual and Family Plans, Property and Casualty, Life
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare distribution and marketing
  • 7+ years of dynamic leadership experience
  • Expert in achieving outcomes through collaboration with others
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze P&L reports and other financial documents
  • Demonstrated ability to meet budgeted goals/targets
  • Experience and knowledge of general contractual terms and requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships, initiatives, and deliverables concurrently
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Master of diplomacy and influence
  • Ability to influence cross-functional peers and teams to achieve marketing strategies
  • Strong communication and interaction skills with senior management
  • Skilled in adapting to, managing, and leading change
  • Familiarity and experience with digital marketing principles and telephonic sales
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong facilitation ability in meetings
  • Forward-thinking mentality to find opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Ability to think independently, critically, and strategically
