We're Looking for Someone Who Can
  • Expertly distill cell phone and internet topics into easy-to-understand guides that any consumer can understand
  • Work quickly, be accountable, be accurate, and most importantly, be insightful
  • Exhibit resourcefulness and an openness to diverse perspectives in the gathering of research
  • Be open to and constructively implement editor feedback
  • Stay up on new products and emerging technologies in the cell phone and internet spaces
  • Take a detail-oriented approach to all editorial output
  • Work autonomously and effectively within a remote team
The Impact You Will Make
  • Conduct detailed research on both internet and cell phone-related topics and write easy-to-understand, authoritative articles about them
  • Publish articles to the website, optimizing for user experience, SEO, and conversions
  • Work with our editor to improve articles, implementing changes as required
  • Brainstorm new topics to build out internet content on the site and help drive traffic
What You Need
  • Professional writing chops; the ability to write quickly, clearly, and concisely
  • An understanding of basic digital writing principles
  • A grasp of standard SEO methodologies and principles
  • The ability to produce engaging content with an objective and helpful style
  • A strong work ethic
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of the internet and cell phone service industries in Canada
  • A working understanding of HTML
