Job Description:

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Clearlink, you will evaluate partnerships and acquisitions in order to continue the growth of the company as a solutions business (what do we want to be?) The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to think big while still paying attention to detail. The BDE will maintain long-term existing relationships as well as research, contact, pitch, and acquire new business. They will work closely with the Account Based Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Solutions Architect teams to lead insight-based selling efforts for Clearlink. To be successful in this position, you must have outstanding business acumen, intense curiosity, excellent analytical abilities, superior written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to identify trends and make compelling business arguments.

Responsibilities

  • Research market data and utilize internal & external tools to provide meaningful, accurate, and informative data analysis for business development efforts
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Clearlink’s capabilities and services as well as the existing and future needs of the customer to create high-value proposals focused on delivering the desired outcomes
  • Conduct research to identify new leads and potential markets
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and procedures and effectively recommend and drive improvements
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecast sales and accurate, detailed reporting
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Effectively pitch Clearlink’s products and services
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and further Clearlink’s internal solution business by understanding their needs and business objectives
  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers in prospect organizations
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

Qualifications
  • 5 years of enterprise level sales experience
  • Demonstrated presentation, reporting, and CRM skills
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior executives and maintain good business relationships with both internal and external clients & resources
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment and to demonstrate thoughtful leadership in assessing problems/opportunities and recommending an approach to solutions
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Digital marketing experience preferred
  • Data analysis experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge and IT fluency
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
