Recruiting Lead

Clara is a modern, technology-enabled mortgage lending platform.  Based in Downtown San Francisco, Clara is a venture capital backed company that has drawn top talent from Silicon Valley, financial services, federal government and the mortgage industry.

At the beginning of 2015, Clara (then Expedite) was 7 people around a table. Two years later we’re tenfold the size because we prioritized building our technology, culture, and most importantly -- our team. The past two years were just the beginning. We plan to build out product, engineering, sales, marketing, mortgage operations, and business operations functions full of diverse and talented people who will accelerate our borrower experience, technology, and company culture. To help achieve this, we are looking to hire a seasoned Recruiting Lead who is passionate about building a team from 70 to 100 to 250 and beyond.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work with our founders and hiring leads to understand requirements and source candidates for all available channels
  • Build and support a world-class candidate experience
  • Manage the hiring process from sourcing to closing, and own recruiting's metrics & data reporting
  • Conduct phone interviews, in-person interviews and attend networking events
  • Work with hiring managers to draft, refine and post to job requisitions
  • Manage budgeting for recruiting resources, including contingency platforms, ATS, LinkedIn and other software
  • Be a brand ambassador for Clara: anyone that speaks with you should be convinced they would rather work at Clara than anywhere else
  • Make it your priority to ensure every candidate has a seamless and positive experience while interviewing at Clara
  • Bring your creative energy to help drive and make our recruitment processes best in class

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience
  • Successful track record for placing candidates at high growth startups or consumer companies
  • Experience working in-house for a high-growth startup is a huge plus
  • Willing to dive in and learn the ins and outs of each role
  • Bring creative sourcing strategies
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Action and detail oriented
  • Passion and noticeable excitement for what we are building at Clara
