ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
The Houston Health Department is actively searching for a skilled individual to provide administrative support to CRNP Division Manager and program. Provide infrastructure support for community-wide partnerships. Produce reports and monitors administrative activities. Participates in special projects as assigned by the department/division head to provide information on the various types of departmental services, programs and projects. Perform other duties as requested.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position is physically comfortable; the individual may be required to walk several blocks at certain times for attendance of off-site meetings. There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Five years of administrative experience are required. Professional administrative experience may be substituted for the above education requirement on a year-for year basis.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Requires a valid driver's license and compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving.

PREFERENCES
Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.

SALARY INFORMATION - (SPECIAL FUNDED POSITION)
$51,324.00 - $67,522.00
