Job Title: Research Project Manager
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:
The Research Project Manager collaborates with the principal investigator and center leaders in developing, coordinating, and facilitating the activities of the Wanek Project for Type 1 Diabetes, including the organization of manpower effort and development of program structure. The position will be the primary liaison between the Project Director and Administrator and the Scientific Leads. It will be accountable for overseeing the management and tracking the performance of each project. The position will partner with the Project Director and Administrator and be responsible for the semi-annual and annual reporting requirements for the project. This position requires a significant degree of independence and ability to make sound professional decisions. This job also requires high organizational skills, self-motivation, creativity, and meticulous documentation.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
- Master's degree in life sciences
- Five or more years of experience in a healthcare research setting including experience in budget development, grants management, space management and/or personnel management.At least three years experience in a scientific laboratory.
- Preferred Education: PhD preferred
