Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The Radiographic Aide performs a variety of duties to support the CAT Scans department. These duties will include: greeting patients and visitors, answering telephones, scheduling patient exams and notifying technologist of patient arrival, assisting the technologist in maintaining proper patient safety and transporting patients for CAT/MRI exams. Other duties will include: obtaining reports of medical information from clinical information/EMR systems and filing and retrieving patient documents as needed.

Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingadherence to theworkplaceCode of Conduct and Compliance Plan. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

Minimum Education:High School or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirement.

Minimum Experience: Six months to one year in patient care and safety related position.

Req. Certification/Licensure: American Heart Association CPR required. C urrent California Drivers license and a good driving record for insurance purposes.
