Job Title: Professor
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:
Seeking an expert in beta cell biology with a focus on beta cell proliferation that is likely to compliment and expand significantly the scope of work done by other City of Hope researchers. This position would also help develop strategies for and unravel mechanisms of in vivo beta cell expansion following islet transplantation and/or immune modulation approaches developed and employed by the City of Hope Diabetes Program.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
Applicants must possess PhD.
Candidate must have high national visibility and NIH funding.
