Postdoctoral Fellow - Yuan Chen lab
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Yuan Chen, http://www.cityofhope.org/people/chen-yuan, [email protected], at the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope. The Beckman Research Institute is an innovative biomedical research, treatment and educational institution, and a designated Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. The City of Hope’s Beckman Research Institute provides an environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration.
The project involves studies of post-translation modifications by ubiquitin-like proteins as cancer therapeutic targets and the development of chemical probes using multi-disciplinary approaches.
Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
- A Ph.D. degree
- Hands-on experience in animal models of cancer
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Experience in immunology-related studies is preferred
- Experience in culturing human hematological malignancy samples is preferred
- Strong publication record that demonstrates innovation and problem solving
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
