Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

Renowned oncolytic virologists Drs. Nanhai Chen and Yuman Fong are seeking a post-doctoral researcher to join their thriving lab as they define the structure and function of novel oncolytic viruses and fast-track them into clinical trials. The ideal candidate will be a well-published investigator who is self-motivated, organized, creative and innovative and works well in a team setting. Drs. Fong and Chen will commit to guiding the post-doctoral researcher toward achieving independence both in research and in funding.

  • A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience with immunology and immunotherapy concepts and techniques is a requirement.
  • Experience working with oncolytic or other viruses is a plus.
  • Post-doctoral researcher must be comfortable with in vitro and in vivo techniques.
  • Must be comfortable working with radioisotopes training will be provided.
