Postdoctoral Fellow - CAR T-Cell Therapy - Williams Lab

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. John Williams, [email protected], at the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope. We are seeking a highly motivated, postdoctoral fellow interested in the development of CAR T Cell therapy. The position requires extensive experience in molecular biology and in vivo and in vitro models. Protein chemistry and engineering is a plus. The position is funded by the NCI. Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • PhD in Molecular, Cellular or Chemical Biology
  • Experience with cell based assays (e.g., proliferation, ELISAs, etc), animal models (CAR T Cell a plus)
  • Knowledge of Biophysics desirable (SPR, ITC, X-ray crystallography)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to conduct independent research
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
