Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Biology and Stem Cell Biology Research - ZJ Sun lab
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available immediately at Professor ZJ Sun’s lab in Beckman Research Institute and the NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center of City of Hope. The successful applicant will join a highly competitive and productive research lab to investigate steroid hormone action, transcriptional control and cell signaling in development and tumorigenesis. Specifically, the applicants will establish and use different biological approaches and genetically-engineered mouse models to asses cellular events and molecular mechanisms underlying prostate cancer initiation, progression, and metastasis in order to develop new therapeutic strategies for the future treatment.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. or M.D/Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field. Candidates should be highly self-motivated, strong working ethic and desire to learn, and a proven track record of productivity. Previous experience with mouse models of human diseases, cancer biology, and cellular and molecular biology is highly desired.
