Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities
A California registered technician who under the supervision of a Pharmacist, packages, prepares and compounds Oral medications, Intravenous medications and Chemotherapy/Biohazard medications. Maintains control procedures, performs inventory and stock control. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. Experience with Pyxis Automated Dispensing Cabinet preferred.
Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingadherence to theworkplaceCode of Conduct and Compliance Plan. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
Minimum Education: High School or equivalent, Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training, graduation from a foreign School of Pharmacy. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
Minimum Experience: One year performing related duties or graduation from a Pharmacy Technician training program.
Required Courses/Training: Pharmacy Technician program.
Required License/Certification: Registered by Pharmacy Board
