Pediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse III BSN Part Time Days

Pediatric Oncology Inpatient Unit:

The 18 beds on the inpatient pediatric unit (3W) includes 16 positive pressure rooms, as well as two negative pressure rooms for the management of disseminated zoster, pneumonia and other diseases requiring negative airflow. Delivered with the sensitivity to each patient’s condition, services include chemotherapy, transfusion therapy, antibiotic therapy, hydration therapy, HCT transplants, pre- and post-surgical care, pain management, care associated with clinical trials, terminal/palliative care, management of the side effects of disease or treatment, diagnostic and other therapeutic procedures, oncology/hematology treatment, psychosocial support including child life services, recreational therapy, clinical social work, psychology, school reintegration programs, and rehabilitation services.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • BSN (Bachelors in Nursing)
  • Minimum one year Clinical Nurse experience in a Pediatric Oncology setting
  • Current California RN License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • PALS certification (required upon interview)
