Job Title: Operating Room Technician
Schedule: Per Diem | Days
Hourly Range: 23.64 - 35.47/hr.
Department: Outpatient Surgery Center
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities
Performs a variety of technical duties to assist with surgical and/or endoscopic procedures. Assists in maintenance of supply levels, cleaning and decontamination of equipment and instruments.
Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingadherence to theworkplaceCode of Conduct and Compliance Plan. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
Minimum Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
Pref. Minimum Experience: 2 - 3 year experience scrubbing major and/or endoscopic cases in a hospital setting.
Required Courses/Training: Maintains knowledge in surgical and medical technology through inservices/courses.
Req. Certification/Licensure: Surgical/Endoscopic Technologist Certification.
