Nuclear Med Technologist Sr
Under limited supervision, performs diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures and related functions. Collaborates with Medical Director and Supervisor on technical issues, equipment performance and QA. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, including adherence to the workplace Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or from an AMA accredited program or Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program and PET/CT certification.
Minimum Experience: Minimum five years experience in nuclear medicine including at least two years previous PET & CT or nuclear medical experience.
Req. Certification/Licensure: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (Nuclear) certification where required by state law.
