MRI Technologist

Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures for patients and coordinates daily patient flow and the activities of the MRI scanner. Supervises the activities of the MRI scanner room under the guidance of the lead technologist or chief technologist.

Minimum Education: High School or equivalent. Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years as an X-ray Tech plus 2 years as a staff technologist

Req. Certification/Licensure: Certification by the ARRT, CRT, CPR meets CA state requirements for operation of a MRI unit
