Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

Registered Nurses who practice in Medical-Surgical Telemetry Services are characterized by their passion and compassion. Working closely with their physician colleagues, these professionals deliver care, and are called upon to assess if a transfer from outpatient to inpatient status is advisable when intense treatment or observation placement may be required. East Hospital C offers the latest technology to ensure optimal nursing care, and provides telemetry monitoring, acute care and observation for medical oncology, and overflow of surgical and hematology patients.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Threeplus years’ experience in an acute care medical-surgical/telemetry setting and charge nurse experience is preferred
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Preferred Certification: OCN, CCM
