Medical Oncology Infusion Clinical Nurse II 3C - BSN

Clinical Nurse II BSN – Outpatient Medical Oncology Infusion – Full TIme Days 10 hour shifts

Department Description:

The 3C Clinic is comprised of 10 chemotherapy infusion rooms and three infusion chairs, and includes a patient/family waiting and learning center, clinical laboratory space, patient call center operations, clinician workroom and telephone triage. Services include:

Chemotherapy/Targeted therapies/Biologic therapies

Transfusions/Antibiotic/Electrolyte replacement/Hydration therapies

Intraperitoneal chemotherapy/liver pump refill and management

Patient call c-center activities

Peripheral stem cell reinfusion

Pain management

Diagnostic labs testing/Vascular access device management

Care associated with clinical trials/Pharmacokinetics

Assessment and management of disease and/or treatment side effects/Patient teaching

Hematologic therapy (growth factors, gammagard, etc.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • BSN (Bachelors in Nursing) **
  • 3 years of clinical experience in chemotherapy/infusion in an outpatient setting**
  • Current California RN License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Chemo certified
  • * (Internal Clinical Nurse in Job Code 9020, 9013, or 9014)
