Medical Front Office Supervisor (Lancaster, CA)

The Office Supervisor oversees daily operations of the front office staff, work flows phone system and Televox system. The person in this role will function as a working supervisor scheduling patients, processing patient co-pays, answering the phone and opening and closing the practice. Other duties will include assisting the Administrator/Director in managing day to day operations of the Front Office, implementing process improvement, training and education, also hiring, coaching and counseling employees when needed. This role serves as the department lead when dealing with highly sensitive and complex patient situations.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to shift gears and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Must be a positive role model and change agent who is able to adapt and drive new processes and behaviors in the team that become the norm in the work flows and employee behaviors.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training in the front office within the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of 2 or more years of supervisory experience (preferred)
