Requisition: #8766 FT Manager, Imaging
Manages and coordinates the operations and delivery of care of the Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, and X-Ray departments. Leads assigned departments to achieve budgeted financial goals. Ensures that a high level of imaging service quality and customer service is delivered at all times. Ensures compliance for all regulatory requirements and overall safety in the assigned departments.
Oversee the administrative and technical portions of service delivery and patient care in the imaging departments of Radiology, Ultrasound, and X-Ray. Responsible for budget and strategic planning with the assistance of the Administrative Director of Imaging Services. Provide effective supervision, training personnel management to assure staff competency in the assigned areas. Support established departmental policies and propose, advance and implement new policies and procedures within assigned departments as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Radiologic Technology Licensure required.
California Radiologic Technologist Certificate (CRT) and American Association of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
Three to five years management experience in hospital/health care environment.
Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, delegate tasks, maintain staffing levels, prepare reports, maintain employee records and problem solve and budgeting.
Competency in personal computer and computer peripheral equipment.
