Islet Cell Transplant Program Clinical Research Nurse-BSN (FT Days)
The Clinical Research Nurse collaborates with the principal investigator in developing, coordinating, and facilitating the activities of the clinical trials program. This position is responsible for coordinating activities related to clinical trials within the institution. It includes collaboration with medical and nursing personnel, tumor registry, care management, and social services. The position also includes patient advocacy and education, educating other hospital personnel, research, and marketing and promotion of the program. The person in this role must have a significant degree of independence and ability to make professional decisions on their own.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Two years experience in Clinical Trails, Research or Islet Transplant
- California RN license.
- American Heart Association BLS.
