Description: Full Time International Clinical Intake Specialist - Madarin Speaking

Position Summary:

The International Patient Clinical Intake Specialist supports and coordinates services for international patients, from the initial intake process across the entire care continuum. The International Patient Clinical Intake Specialist is responsible to complete initial assessment for prospective international patients. Triaging clinical inquiries and procuring information to ensure comprehensive and relevant patient information are received. The International Patient Clinical Intake Specialist complies and presents all necessary information to our City of Hope clinicians for review. Providing information addressing clinical related issues for international patients and families within the nursing scope of practice. Assures prompt and efficient process for clinical record review, appointment scheduling for evaluation, consultations, prioritizing diagnostic testing and information gathering to enhance international patient evaluation and treatment experience. The International Patient Clinical Intake Specialist is responsible to collaborate with other care providers as needed to facilitate and finalize care and service provided by the Center for International Medicine. Collaborates with International Patient Access Coordinators to achieve excellent patient experience.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Public Health or HealthCare Management or related field

Experience: 10 yearsof clinical experience; Mandarin Speaking

Certifications/Licensure: Current California RN license
