Position Summary:

Interventional Radiology (IR) provides minimally-invasive diagnosis and treatment of diseases while relying on the use of radiological image guidance (fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography [CT] or magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]). Examples of IR procedures include: chemo embolization, central venous catheter placements, drainage catheter placements, ablations, biopsies etc.

Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingadherence to theworkplaceCode of Conduct, Compliance Plan, and organizational dress code. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty. Maintains confidentiality.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Experience:

†BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.

â€3 years to 5 years relatedexperience. Preferred experiencein Radiology, ER, GIor ICU.

†Current California RN License

†American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
