Position Summary:

The ERM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating certain designated programmatic and departmental activities of the Corporate ERM Office that have enterprise-wide impact. Key job responsibilities include execution of program and department operational activities such as serving as focal administrative support to the Executive Director, ERM for program and department strategic initiatives, reports, tracking, risk analyses, audits, meetings, conferences, newsletters, emails, research and trainings. Coordinates ERM Program and Departmental operational activities including purchasing, inventory management and logistics, often in collaboration with other organizational stakeholders. Manages ERM Program and related Department issue management systems and gathers data, summarizes and develops custom reports for Executive Director ERM, Department, senior leadership, general management, and Board of Directors reporting purposes. Performs advanced clerical, administrative, and general office duties. Typically reports to a position responsible for a major function. Business contacts include persons at all levels within the organization, industry, and community. Manages complex calendars, schedules meeting and appointments for senior management. Advanced skillsets in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet, Email, Outlook, Virtual Meetings, Adobe, and related software and applications. Works independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks, requiring no ongoing instructions on routine work and limited instructions on new assignments. Maintains confidentiality and sets a positive example of morale, ethics, attitude and motivation.

Key Responsibilities include:

Coordinates ERM Program and Departmental operational activities. Manages ERM Program and related Department issue management systems and gathers data, summarizes and develops custom reports for Executive Director ERM, Department, senior leadership, general management, and Board of Directors reporting purposes.
  • Serves as key program staff for program reports, materials, and data management including but not limited to processes involving advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet, Email, Outlook, Virtual Meetings, and Adobe; and other applicable software and applications.
  • Coordinates ERM Program and Departmental operational activities including purchasing, inventory management, technology and logistics, often in collaboration with other organizational stakeholders.
  • Serves as collaborative team member to other program staff, department staff, vendors, internal and external clients, and other stakeholders and supporters.
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years relevant experience.

  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet.

Additional Information:
  • To protect the health of patients and staff and to comply with new State of California mandates, City of Hope staff are required to show proof of full vaccination by September 30, 2021. Compliance is a condition of employment.
