Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager - HEM/HCT NPs
TheClinical NurseManager for Ambulatory Services-Clinics assists in managing the department along with the Manager, Ambulatory Services. The Assistant Clinical NurseManager is an experienced registered nurse with a significant amount of scientific knowledge and professional/technical skills related to the oncology patient population. TheACN has a demonstrated level of proficiency in directing patient throughput, a proven ability to use the Nursing Process as a decision-making process to timely resolve patient care issues. Also demonstrates a keen ability to consistently communicate to staff in a competent, interpersonal and culturally sensitive manner, mindful of their role of patient advocate. TheACN implements a high degree of scientific knowledge rooted in the most current, evidence based practice guidelines and ensures consistency with established organizational policies and procedures and regulatory standards. Evaluates individual employees/staff performance as well as coaches, mentors and takes corrective action and discipline when appropriate.
Minimum Education: Registered Nurse - BSN required
Minimum Experience: Current Healthcare and Clinical Operational Experience - (5-7 years)
Required Certification/License: Current California Nursing License
ONS Provider Card required. Preferred Certification: OCN preferred. BMT certification optional
Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated skills in goal setting, budgeting, operations and human resource management.
Ability to work effectively with Hospital/Medical Center staff, department staff, physicians, clinicians, and patients
Must exhibit effective communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
