Position Summary:

1B and 1C are Hematology Ambulatory care clinics providing scheduled appointments with Physicians/Providers for new patients, follow-ups or consults.

These clinics may also provide the following services:

Bone marrow biopsies and aspirations

Vascular access device care and education

Immunizations and injections

Care Coordination

Patient Call Center activities

Basic symptom management

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
  • If hired before May 1, 2012: Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. If hired after May 1, 2012, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

Minimum Experience:

â€3 years of acute care experience. Hem/BMT clinical experience preferred.

†Current California RN License

†American Heart Association BLS

Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, includingadherence to theworkplaceCode of Conduct, Compliance Plan, and organizational dress code. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty. Maintains confidentiality.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
