Asst Clinical Nurse Manager - ETC
Incorporating the role based practice models, assists the Clinical Nurse Manager in the responsibilities for the daily operational needs of the assigned area. Participates in the management of human and material resources as well as program planning and evaluation. Provides input and participates into the development and management of the budget. Provides supervision of employees, participates in hiring, assigns work, coaches, trains, evaluates performance and completes simple disciplinary actions. Actively works to ensure optimal delivery of care as well as performance improvement initiatives either through direct involvement and membership or by occasionally leading PI team efforts. Able to actively collaborate with peers, subordinates and supervisors in constructive problem solving as well as to facilitate frequent team building interactions with staff.
Directs the work of Nursing Unit/Clinic and programs; coordinates staff to assure that effective nursing services are provided and quality standards are met or achieved. Maintain an environment that supports the professional nurse and staff.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing-BSN required
- Minimum 3- 5 years experience in nursing in oncology
- BLS required
- Current California RN License required
