Assistant Professor

The Department of Immuno-Oncology within the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope invites applications from qualified individuals for a Professor Series faculty position in the area of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. Applicants with proven accomplishments in immunotherapeutics or immunologic studies applicable to solid tumors in animal models and/or humans are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must be qualified for Cancer Center membership while effectively developing an extramurally funded translational research program. Interaction among other members of the department is facilitated by an open floor-plan laboratory with dedicated space for the successful candidate. Candidates will have established a nationally/ internationally recognized research program with a strong track record in extramural peer reviewed funding and high impact publications. A competitive start-up package including faculty salary and research support will be provided commensurate with experience. Review of the completed applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. A start date in the 2016 academic year is anticipated. MD-PhD, MD or PhD is required for this position as well as a fluency in spoken and written English.
