Performs donor phlebotomy and apheresis in center and blood drives. Participates in departmental projects such as SOP validations. Trains and re-trains staff, develops new procedures, participates in quality assurance activities to continually ensure the safety of the blood supply and provide the highest quality of service/care. May be designated to serve in Charge Nurse capacity. Demonstrates a caring and professional manner at all times.
- Minimum Experience: Three years Donor/Apheresis experience required.
- Minimum Education: BSN Degree required.
- Required Certification/Licensure: Current California Registered Nursing License; current BLS certification.
