Sr Account Technician

The City of Fort worth Water Department is seeking a detail oriented candidate to fill the position of Senior Account Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily analysis, research and billing of customer utility accounts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to record and analyze data. The successful candidate should possess excellent organization, problem solving and reconciliation Skills.

An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Accounting, Finance or related field PLUS three (3) years of increasingly responsible technical accounting experience involving customer accounts, collections and billing, and setting up services. Microsoft Office Word and advanced Excel skills required.

Conditions of Employment

Person selected for employment into any position must pass a drug test. Some positions may require passing an alcohol test. Previous employment and any additional experience will be subject to verification prior to employment processing. A driver's license and driving record check will be conducted if driving is a job requirement. A post offer employment medical examination may be conducted prior to job placement.

You will be paid by direct deposit only.
